Research has shown that the stress associated with infertility can be comparable to the anxiety associated with serious illness. Patients who participate in infertility counseling are often better prepared for treatment and are more confident and less stressed.
Fertility Center strongly encourages counseling, and patients using known egg donors or choosing a surrogate are required to see a counselor.
